1. Purpose

Buvettes.be is an online tool that allows an organizer ("the manager") to create a digital sales list for an event (stand, booth, fair, festival, etc.) and make it available to the public via a link or QR code, in order to facilitate order taking. This disclaimer sets out the limits of liability relating to the use of the site and the application.

2. No payment management

Buvettes.be is an organization and order-taking tool. The application never replaces the actual management of on-site payments: it does not collect, hold or transfer any money between the end customer and the stand manager. Collection (cash, physical tokens, payment terminal, transfer, or any other means chosen by the manager) remains entirely organized and ensured by the manager, under their sole responsibility. Buvettes.be cannot be held liable for any disagreement, collection error, non-payment or fraud occurring during the physical transaction between the customer and the manager.

The exception is online payments made directly on Buvettes.be for the purchase of an Event or Unlimited access (see the Terms of Use), which are processed by a secure third-party payment provider (Stripe).

3. Accuracy of displayed information

The content displayed on each list (items, prices, descriptions, availability) is entered and updated by the manager of the relevant stand. Buvettes.be does not intervene in defining this content and does not guarantee its accuracy, its actual availability on site, or its compliance with any regulations (labeling, allergens, displayed prices, taxes, licenses required to sell beverages, etc.). It is up to each manager to ensure compliance with their own legal and regulatory obligations specific to their activity and jurisdiction.

4. Service availability

Buvettes.be makes every effort to ensure continuous access to the site, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. The site may be temporarily inaccessible due to maintenance, technical failure, an incident at the hosting provider, or any other event beyond reasonable control. Buvettes.be cannot be held liable for the consequences, including financial ones, of the service being unavailable at the time of an event.

5. Use at your own risk

Use of Buvettes.be, whether by managers or by members of the public viewing a list, is at the sole responsibility of the user. Buvettes.be disclaims all liability for direct or indirect damages (loss of revenue, loss of data, inconvenience during an event, etc.) resulting from the use or inability to use the site.

6. External links

The site may contain links to third-party sites (for example the payment provider). Buvettes.be has no control over these third-party sites and disclaims all liability for their content or practices.

7. Changes

This disclaimer may be modified at any time, in particular to reflect an evolution of the service or of the applicable regulations. The version in force is the one published on this page.
